  • Experience a traditional Monk Blessing from a local monk or village elder. This sacred ritual is a blessing for good health, prosperity, and protection. You will be invited to participate, where the monk will tie a white string around your wrist as part of the blessing.
  • Your guide will introduce you to the local village and provide an overview of the community and its traditions.
  • Begin your visit with a community walk through the village, spend some time chatting with the villagers and learning more about their culture, crafts, and traditions. Some villages may also offer small handmade crafts for sale, providing an opportunity to support local artisans.
  • Hop onto an oxcart and take a leisurely ride around the village and surrounding farmland. The slow pace allows you to fully enjoy the natural beauty of the area, as well as the rural atmosphere. The ox-drawn cart will pass through fields and past local homes, giving you a genuine insight into village life.
  • After your ride, you’ll be invited to enjoy a traditional local food tasting at a village house or local eatery. This could include dishes such as Khmer-style rice porridge, grilled meats, fresh fruits, or local specialties like “Amok” (a flavorful curry dish).
